QUOTES FROM LINCOLN

This is a quote from Lincoln from the book, LINCOLN A PHOTOBIOGRAPHY. This book is very relevant to today. Quote: ” I think the authors of the DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE intended to include ALL men, but they did not intend to declare all men equal IN ALL RESPECTS. They did not mean to say that all were equal in color, size, intellect, moral development, or social capacity. They defined with tolerable distinctness, in what respects they did consider all men created equal—-equal in “certain inalienable rights, among which are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. This they said, and this they meant.”  From speech at Springfield. June 26, 1857

this is very relevant to today don’t you think. Some people compared Obama to Lincoln, I am afraid they missed this quote, I can’t see Obama saying any of that, can you?
